Learn to Skate

The next step to better skating!

Our Learn to Skate program teaches the fundamentals of skating in a non-competitive, rewarding atmosphere.

This program focuses on general skating skills with an emphasis on balance, strength, and control. This program is open to skaters of all levels in all ice sports, and provides a fantastic foundation for skaters wanting to proceed with figure skating or hockey. This class skates on half of the ice surface, sharing the rink with our Intro to Figure Skating program.

This program is open to skaters age 5+. Skaters must turn 5 before the program begins.

For skaters age 5 and under, please register for our Pre-School program

Registration for the 2024-2025 skating season is closed. We hope you join us next year!

This program fills up very quickly. If the program is full, please register for the waitlist as we often see cancellations during the summer. Learn more about how the waitlist works here.
