- Stopping
- Introducing jumping and turning
- Developing edges
For more information about the skills that are covered in this class, and how skaters are evaluated, visit our Assessments & Evaluations page.
Skater Groups
Within this program, skaters are placed into small groups based on their initial skill level. As the season progresses and the skaters grow in confidence, the group’s focus evolves with them. For example, the Yellow Group would start at Level 2, and may transition into a Level 2/3 or Level 3 curriculum as the skaters master new techniques. This ensures the instruction always matches the group's collective progress without disrupting their team environment.
Blue Group - Level 1
Green Group - Level 1/2
Yellow Group - Level 2
Red Group - Level 3
